- RVA Kids Consignment and Christ Church Episcopal are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged goods left at the consignment sale. All items are left at the sale at consignors' own risk.
- Items submitted are in excellent condition, free of stains/tears/damage, in working condition, currently fashionable, contain all necessary pieces and are ready for resale. Items that do not meet this requirement will be removed from the sales floor and can be picked up between 1 and 3 pm the day the sale ends.
- Tags must be accurate! If there is a conflict between the system and the printed tag, the cashiers will honor the tag. In these cases, the tags will be removed and made available to the consignor for pickup between 1 and 3 pm the day the sale ends.
- Consignors will receive 65% of their sale proceeds. Consignors who volunteer will receive 80% of their sales proceeds.
- Consignor will allow ample time to retrieve any of their unsold items before 3:00 pm on the Saturday of the sale. At 3:00 pm sharp, the consignor understands ALL uncollected items will be packed up for donation.
- A consignor fee of $10 will be deducted from each consignor’s sale proceeds for sale expenses.
- Registration is required for EACH sale, by selecting Drop Off - CONSIGNOR/SELLER REGISTRATION when registration opens.
- Checks are mailed to consignors approximately 3-5 weeks after the sale.
- It is the consignor’s responsibility to ensure their address is up-to-date on their account. If the consignor fails to update their address and as a result, their check is sent to an old address and never received, a $30 check reissue fee will be deducted from the consignor's proceeds in the replacement check. This is due to bank charges the church incurs to put a stop payment on the original check.
- If a consignor has not received their check after 8 weeks, it is their responsibility to contact the sale organizers at that time. It is the responsibility of the consignor to deposit checks within 6 months of the date written on check. Any checks not cashed within 6 months will be void and 100% of the check amount will be donated to church missions. Church and sale leadership is NOT responsible for monitoring and communicating upcoming expiring checks.
- Federal regulations prevent us from accepting any car seats, CO2 detectors, smoke detectors, make-up, candy or food.
- Consignor has reviewed the latest list of recalled children’s products and toys at www.safekids.org/product-recalls and will not knowingly bring any recalled items to the sale.
